Adelynn's Sip and See...

Mimi has always had a special brunch party for all her friends to come and see the new granddaughters. Adelynn's party was on Sunday, October 26th, and was just as sweet and special as the others. Of course, Adelynn, you were an perfect angel during the whole thing. Everyone kept talking about how you would smile. It is really neat because you are smiling some already. You smiled at Mommy for the first time on Saturday. I was talking to you and you looked in my eyes and gave me the most precious, soft smile ever. You were six weeks old yesterday. I cannot believe how fast the time has gone since you joined our family. These have been some of the best memories ever for me. I love watching your older sisters interact with you. They love you so much. On Saturday night, you started sleeping seven hours straight at night. Mommy is so excited. You are such a good sleeper and I love how you will put yourself to sleep but you also love to snuggle up close to Mommy and Daddy too. You are a very dainty baby. You have a small head and tiny body frame. You are holding your head up so good now. You also are becoming so alert. You watch your sisters move around the room and grin some in between dosing in and out of sleep, as if to say "I cannot wait to play too." Right now, your eyes are still very blue. We will see if they stay like this or turn brown like mine and Ailee's. You are a very beautiful baby and such a wonderful blessing to everyone!

Mommy's Best Friends and her girls...Melissa, Anna Grace, Judith, and Adelynn

This is Mommy's Great Uncle Bob and he delivered Adelynn's special blanket Aunt Lynda made because she was unable to come. Yes, Ailee is running around with no clothes on again, a normal thing around our house.

Mimi and the clan, they have all been friends since they were the little girls!

Well, the day resulted in the girls in their smocked dresses playing football in the front yard with Kaleb and Payton. The best was watching Anna Grace tackle Kaleb! Daddy doesn't need boys after all!

Another Fun Fall Saturday...

Today was one of those days where, as a mom, you feel like you really accomplished something on the job. Moms of multiples, especially with 3 or more, can relate for sure. While Daddy had a "golf outing," all of us girls got up after a lazy morning and all got fancied up for our photos at Gray Darrah's. I was able to get everyone ready without any tears or fussing. We got some beautiful fall photos of the girls in their precious pink pettiskirts for Halloween. Then, things were going so well, we went out to lunch together at Chick-fil-a. Later, after naptime, we went to Reese's bday party at the jumping place and, then, off to the Country Club Halloween Festival. As you can see, with three, things are really busy but triple the fun. Adelynn is such a wonderful baby. She has just joined in our family routines just perfectly. This week she is 5 weeks old and are are all now well adjusted. She sleeps extremely well at night only waking up once around 2 or 3 for a quick snack and back to bed. The big girls just love her to pieces. It made me feel so good today when we were all piled up on the couch together and Anna Grace looked up at me and said "Mommy, I am so glad we had another baby." With Anna Grace and Ailee being the best of friends, I can already see that they are ready for Adelynn to jump right in with them. The years ahead will be lots of fun watching them all grow and learn togehter. Thanks, sweet girls, for a fun fall day!

Sleeping again, Adelynn is an angel during the festival.

The big girls got their faces painted like princess kitty cats. This was the first time Ailee allowed anyone to touch her face with paint. She is growing up so fast. She has had a difficult time lately trying to decide if she is big or little. I guess the middle child syndrome is a little tough on her right now. I am glad she has the personality she does because I think she is quickly bouncing out of it with the realization that it is more fun to be "big" and hang out with Anna Grace and her friends than to try to compete with Adelynn for the "little" spot. No matter what the order, all you girls are mommy's precious sweethearts! You brought me tremendous joy today watching your bright smiles and hearing your contagious giggles.

Waiting on our sweet Baby A...

We went to Disney World this Spring after Mommy finished her 20 weeks of severe sickness while being pregnant with Baby A (we didn't have a name for her yet so Mimi and the girls named her "baby A.") We made some very special memories that will last forever. You girls were so sweet because everytime you saw or did something fun you would say "can we bring our baby back to see this when she gets out of your tummy?" I love how you included her before you even met her. Mommy remembers being at Disney more than 20 years earlier but experiencing the "magic" through both of you was truly spectacular! The princesses dressed up for the Pirate/Princess Party in the Park.

Daddy and his girls going to the Daddy/Daughter Date night at the Country Club. This was Ailee's first year attending but it is a tradition for Anna Grace and her Daddy.

Happy Mother's Day... what could be greater than holding such precious angels in my arms with one more growing inside my womb.

One of my favorite summer photos...look at those popsicle grins!

Fun times on Vacation

I cannot believe Ailee started two year old preschool this year. She goes three days a week and absolutely loves it. Ms. Noelle says she is the best helper and has such a fun personality.

Anna Grace on her first day of 4 year old Pre-K.

You girls were so excited about our new baby. I love the memories of you talking and singing to my belly. You would tell her stories, Anna Grace, and tell her you couldn't wait to hold and love her. Ailee, you were the perfect height to fit right up under my tummy and you would love to hide under it!

Awaiting a miracle...

and thank you, Jesus, for our perfect baby girl! She's here...

Our Family finally complete.

I cannot even explain in words how I felt when I meet you. It was like a whole new portion of my heart opened up that had been waiting just for you. I will never forget the peace I felt the night we brought you home from the hospital and everyone was tucked in their beds asleep but mommy. I looked over at you asleep in your bassinet and felt a rush like I have never experienced before...a heart so full of love that it felt like it might explode. How blessed I am...
a warm house full of three healthy, happy and beautiful daughters, a caring husband who lives out his love for his Heavenly Father and his family each day, and parents that would give me the world (and actually have over the years!)

He will carry you...
"Dear Lord, please help Jon and I to model to our children your amazing love. Help us to establish a trust with them so they will know we will always be there to carry them through the joys, struggles and lessons this world has for them. In turn, may they create a relationship with you knowing you are ever present in their time of need. Let them feel the security of both their faithful parents and Heavenly Father!'

Adelynn's first trip to church was special because it was on the day Daddy was ordained as a deacon.
September 28th, 2008
(although you were two weeks old, this was your actual due date. So glad we got to have you a little early!)
And now the joys of parenting three precious girls has begun... I cannot wait!

Here I go...

Well, I have finally taken the time to create a place where I can journal. I can never make myself sit down and do it the old fashion way and all three of the girls journals seem to be missing so many pieces of their lives. This way I combine the whole family together and can print out journal entries along with the photos to save for them to see what live was like when the were little. It will also help me keep an ongoing record of the many blessings my sweet Lord is continually giving to me. Sometimes during the rush of being a mommy to three beautiful daughters, I miss the windows God opens up for me to see his blessings...even if it is as small as a hug I see exchanged between my sweet girls. It will definitely be a learning process figuring out how to use this blog site so wish me luck and keep in touch!

Ring around the rosies...
ashes to ashes...we all fall down!

Sweet sisters, Anna Grace and Ailee Claire!

"Looking back" over the wonderful summer we shared together while waiting on the new addition to our family...
The beach trip we take each year with my parents, my brother and his awesome family of girls is such a special time. The girls enjoy each other so much and I remember how much I miss the fun times growing up as the little sister to such an incredible big brother. He showed me the ropes in many ways, good and bad! But we had a blast along the way. We live more than three hours apart now and I miss him terribly along with the precious family he has created with my "sister" Beth.
