Freedom Ballet...

Again, Steps of Faith did an amazing job sharing the girls talents, as well as, using their gifts as a ministry to the Lord.  The Freedom Ballet was so moving and encouraging...God has already won!  The battles we face, the burdens we carry are His if only we will turn them over to Him to finish for us. It was such a creative way to express the realness of the battles between Good and Evil going on around us during every moment we face.  It was moving, the talent was breathtaking, the hearts of these gorgeous girls shone for miles.  Wonderful job, ladies!  How honored we feel to be a part of this mission...
(miss Jacqueline, the arch angel, Anna Grace's dream being lived out before her.  She is miss J's biggest fan!  Grace and talent like that only comes from above)
Mommy's gorgeous Timothy 1 ballerina~wow, how much this year of 3 days a week has paid off!

Little miss Aiden greeted you with flowers immediately as you exited the stage.  She is your biggest fan, I think!  How sweet it is to feel the blessings of those around us.
Your sisters also couldn't wait to shower you with flowers and Mimi and Granddaddy were waiting first in line for some love from their favorite ballerina.

I know it isn't a ballgame but by the smile on his face and tears in his eyes as he watched you dance, I know Daddy could not be more proud of his little angel!

Easter Weekend~

Just wanted to give you girls a quick recap of our Easter Weekend 2012.  It went quick but it was full of fun memories for us.  We stayed in town for church this year since we just had gotten home from the beach.  So the Easter Bunny came to our house this year and brought fishing rods for you all to enjoy fishing the nearby river with Daddy.  Then, we headed up to Mimi and Granddaddy's after church for yummy lunch and an egg hunt with Danielle and her family.

Prize Egg Winners!

 Dying eggs at home!

What a beautiful Resurrection Weekend!!  We are so truly blessed!

Escape---

It was perfect!
It was an escape from all those things that seem to haunt you on a daily basis~
laundry, cooking, cleaning, schedules, telephones, etc.
Just Mimi and us girls in one of God's most beautiful places.
The thought of it now could seriously send me into a packing frenzy and start heading back to stay for good.
Then, reality...
like today for example, after a night full of 2 little ones up sick with a tummy bug, new braces on AG that seem to be tagging at the early insecurity issues every girl faces and a husband out of town.

For now these memories of peace and security will have to do.
Not much makes my heart fuller than these three sweethearts in my arms.
On most days of the trip, you all were either building or splashing while Mimi and I were enjoying a good read. You each made new friends and I loved hearing your giggles echo down the beach.
Adelynn, you were obsessed with ICE CREAM the entire trip. I think we heard the request for it come from your mouth over 100 times while we were there!
Today,I am missing the lazy days of a break. However, I am enjoying the hopes they bring from a soon approaching summer...

School Easter Hopping...

I always loved Easter Parties at school because it meant Spring Break was near or just finished up and that the end of school was just around the corner. This year, I was able to make it to each of your celebrations and see you off to hunt those bright little eggs with all your friends.

Adelynn, you found a little friend hiding in a basket as we were going back into your sister's school. Thanks to Ms Amy, you got to pet the softest bunny mommy has ever seen. And, your big sister was so super sweet to include you in her egg hunt. She held your hand and guided your through out her entire hunt. She made sure to never leave you out. How lucky you are! I wander if you even realize was a blessing you have in your 2 big "sissys."

Excuse me...Anna Grace, when did you get SO grown up looking? Please please slow down!!!
Now that I am back to being mommy again instead of trying to teach, I was able to make some super fun treats for Easter Celebrations at school instead of throwing a prepacked PBandJ in a sack as we rushed out the door already 2 minutes behind schedule. I made the girls each a special Easter Lunch. You girls loved trying to think up what I could have put inside and once you finally got to open it at school and see your lunch split up into each one of the plastic eggs, you told me how exciting it was. I love it when you all blush with smiles because you realize the effort I put into something to make simple things extra special for you. I am glad you each enjoy me doing it as much as it completes me to do it for you!

Thanks, Mimi, for the precious Bunny silhouette frames with the "Christ the Lord is Risen Today" hymns printed in the background that we were able to surprise each of the teachers with this year.
And, next we have the wonderful sweet treat Spring Break coming up next post! Can't wait to share the fun we had with Mimi on our little girl's getaway!

Finding my way back...

"I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down..." Nehemiah 6:3

(a friend sent me this in a time of need)
it was the crying out of my heart but i wasn't sure how to put into words, much less, actions! she knew what i needed at that specific time. this was what i was called to do...my work for now is these three lovely angels and i had become otherwise engaged. i had "come down."

now, however, i am back!!!!

it feels amazing to be in my skin again~
*to write things on my "daily to do list" each morning and actually finish them before night fall and not just have to move them over to the next day
*to enjoy my afternoons with these 3 without seeing through them to the long list of other obligations i needed to fulfill
*to find the way i was created to be again and all in proper order.

finally, to weed out what was not necessarily a bad thing but something that found it's way into my life that was not of Him. it is so "freeing"
it landed me directly back as ME!...
