Friday was the first day of Fall Break and we definitely made the best of it. I must say I was really worried and disappointed when my plans to sleep in (for you guys more than me!) were thrown off when Ailee got up before 6 with an upset tummy. Thankfully, God took over and by noon we were ready to head out to some of our favorite Fall destinations! It was a fantastic day filled with lots of fun times and sweet memories. We crammed a lot into the afternoon but you all kept up the pace very well and seemed to be having some much needed play time with Mommy and Daddy! First stop~~the apple barn. We walked through the orchards, visited the petting zoo, tasted some apples and, of course, purchased some fried apple pies!!

Issy, you helped Baby A pick out the perfect apple. And it wasn't long until she had chomped all the way around it with pure enjoyment! It must have been a great choice!

Boo (Ailee), you found the biggest one you could find and were extremely proud!

I am not sure of the discussion here but I bet it was interesting!

Next stop...the petting zoo. Both of you older girls, loved it! Adelynn, however, hung onto Daddy as tight as possible. When the little moo cow got too close, she was finished with the animal scene. The only ones she wanted to get near were the sweet little bunnies.

The miniature horse and the pig were mommy's favorite! Look how cute this little guy is!

Ailee, you never meet a stranger, child. Even you and this goat appear to go way back!

I love seeing how as big sisters you both care for Baby A so carefully. Ailee, you helped guide her through the patch until you both found the perfect pumpkin.

Sweet Adelynn, you have a slight obsession with miniature rocks right now. You were just as excited about hanging onto your rock treasures as your pumpkin. You kept saying..."heavy, heavy."

I could not get over looking at you all day, Anna Grace, because you seemed so grown up in your boots and jeans. You are so sweet to always wear the little girl style clothing rather than the latest fad. Today, I encouraged you to try a pair of jeans and you loved your new boots. I think you looked precious...just big! As long as you still wear your big hairbows, Mommy can hang on a little while longer to my first baby girl!

After the pumpkin searching was over, we headed of to the Falls. It was beautiful. You all were amazed. Mommy and Daddy were exhausted. There were a lot of steep hills and stairs included in this little adventure. This might have been my favorite part of the day.

The top!

Finally, Daddy and Anna Grace tackled a little adventure of their own. AG, you have reached an age where you enjoy being with your Daddy a lot. You like working on things together, watching football with him and anything that captures his attention on just you for a second. The corn maze was a perfect ending to your day. You held the punch card while he read the map. You both had a record time and the rest of us just sat in the car and cheered you on. Ailee, you on the other hand, require a lot of Mommy time. You loved nothing better than sitting in the front seat with mommy rocking you and singing songs as the sun began to set on the field. And, Baby A, you are just happy being along for the ride. You are so easy going and quite hysterical most of the time.

On Saturday, we headed to watch the Dawgs pull out a big win between the hedges. Adelynn, here is a glimpse into your personality these days. You are truly a mess. So funny and sweet all rolled into one adorable little monkey. This new "cheese" you have learned is such a lovely addition to our photos. You look like "one proud bulldawg!"

(I apologize for the quality of these phone pics. I purposely left the camera at home and enjoyed seeing it all through my own eyes instead of my camera for a change!)
Today, we went to the MALL!!! The apple farm and the MALL were the two places you both really wanted to visit during the break. You both are girls after your Mommy's own heart! We had fun! Once we got lunch and Adelynn passed out in the stroller, it was on. We hit every store remotely "girly" in the whole mall. We looked at everything down to Ballet Christmas ornaments. I gave you both $10 to spend and it was interesting to watch. Ailee, you spent your money in the first store in a matter of 5 minutes. You bought...a skirt (I know...big shock! You would wear a skirt 24 hours a day if I let you!) AG, it was serious to you. You spent 3 hours deliberating over the perfect way to spend your money. I was exhausted! Finally, we waited as you decided between 3 purses. You tried them on. Posed in the mirror and decided on the pink one with a big pink flower. I knew the minute you saw the purse in the first 15 minutes of arriving at the mall that you would choose it. However, I played along with the decision process. You are such a serious girl!

Tomorrow we are off to tie dye shirts with friends and see a movie. Then, unfortunately, Tuesday is work day. We (I) have big plans to clean out the basement toy circus! I hope to be completely organized and maybe even tackle straightening up my sewing area! Oh and by the way, sewing for my three true loves again is absolutely fabulous!! I have put a hold on all TMM orders and begun creating special masterpieces for the three of you again. Now, I remember why I fell in love with sewing to begin with! I do love seeing my creations on little ones all over the place but, for now, I have three little angels in need of some Halloween outfits!
