Here comes the Turkeys...

It is turkey time around our house and we are beginning to focus more each day on all the amazing things we have to be thankful for. Man, our God is so good and I often overlook the small blessings He has given to me.
Lord, I want to take this time and just thank you so very much for the precious miracles you have given daily in live. My family...my husband and best friend, my adorable daughters, my parents, my loving friends, and the list goes on and on but you know them each and every one. You know their needs and their storms. Please continue to love us and bless us during this very special season. Keep my eyes upon you and all the things I have to be thankful for. Your love is so amazing. I love you! In my Saviors name, Amen.

This year during such a special season, our Lord has given my extended family a very precious gift...Josie Carolyne Jones. She literally fell in the arms of my first cousin (basically, my sister) about a month ago and was in desperate need of a loving home and family to care for her. Although, adding this sweet child into their family meant raising their number of children from 5 to 6, they graciously accepted God's plan for their lives even though they cannot see what lies ahead. This family of 7, 5 boys ranging from ages 6-18, have now added a new member to their team. She quickly stole their hearts, as well as mine and my girls. Again, Lord, we thank You for your miracles! The presence of this sweet baby in our lives is a work of Your hands and we pray for Your continued blessing and guidance for her new parents. Give them hope and answers to the questions I am sure are spinning in their heads. Love on them and hold them all close under Your wings. I pray You will bless her "birth" mother who will one day realize what she has lost. I pray You draw her near to you and change her desires into Your desires. Please use this baby's live as a blessing to You and challenge us as her family to teach her Your love. In Jesus's name, Amen.
