It was a long anticipated, desperately needed time with just my family away from here. Away from all the demands. Away from the schedules that quickly change from school year to summer without even as much as a deep exhale. Sometimes, away is my favorite place.
My current placement is H.O.M.E...within the walls, it is nothing but accepting love, comfort and constant reminders of the blessings which I do not at all deserve.
The floors, surfaces, and bathrooms are all freshly cleaned. The fridge and pantry are overflowing with goodness. (thank you Jesus for the blessing of a fully stocked kitchen) The playlist on my computer keeps getting blocked out by the sweetest sounds of three little girls giggling & shouting "zinga" as they take turns winning the game they are playing. The smell of clean laundry seeps from the washing machine. My favorite candle flickers on the coffee table in my distant view. Husband is peacefully resting from an terrible headache. Air conditioning is blowing lots of cool goodness from the vent next to my favorite chair. Oh, and my momma showed up for a surprise visit!!
Always amazes me how returning from the away is just as refreshing as the leaving is.

And what a wonderful visit I had!! So glad you had such an amazing trip but very glad you are safely home again! Now, in between that crazy summer schedule, we can have a few fun adventures!
