Yes, as our 3rd born daughter turned 3 recently, we all took time to reflect on how this little peanut has changed our live drastically for the better. Sweet Baby A, you are more than I could have ever imagined you to be. You are a ball of joy and always waiting to burst into laughter at a moments notice. You love so sweetly and so faithfully! After having 2 little angels already, to be honest, I thought "okay, we are just adding another one, a little more drama but other than that, this should be just like normal." However, you came out and proved me wrong the minute I saw you. It took a matter of one breath until you swept us all away with your beauty, totally lovable personality and huge desire to adore everyone around you instantly! I do have to add you are spoiled rotten by many friends and family but you are not the typical last born in a family. You do not depend and wait around on others to do for you. Nope, you are independent and determined to work things out on your own. You love to plan things and take charge. You have a way about you that even though you are the smallest, you take control. For example, you tried to sign yourself up for ballet recently. Everytime you have asked over the past month or so, I kept telling you that we would start soon. It's just so busy with us being there 4 days a week now that Anna Grace made company that I thought we could just push your enrollment off until January. One day while waiting on Ailee, you came around the corner holding Ms. Mary's hand. You led her straight to me and both of you looked at me like I had something very important I should be saying. Finally, I broke the silence and Ms. Mary informed me that you had gone to get her and told her that your mommy needed to talk to her about your ballet class. Nothing like a girl in charge! You also planned your bday party too. You spoke up one day on the way to school and told Ailee to bring the presents, Anna Grace to bring balloons and me to bring the cake. You are truly a blessing to be around most all of the time. You love to cuddle and snuggle. You enjoy crafts just like your sisters and you have been learning so much lately. I think you definitely are growing up in that way much faster than your sisters. You tell everyone you are in first grade. You are so confident in your prayer time. I can't help but crack up a little when you bow your head and started speaking so boldly and loudly as you begin..."Dear GOD," You thanked Him the other night for saving you and when you finished I simply asked you, "hey, adelynn, when you said God saved you in your prayer, what did He save you from?" You never missed a beat and proudly responded "a bear!" It was so cute! I smile and laugh many times a day thinking about the silly and special things you do and say each day that make my life so much more enjoyable. Your second year was such a blast! I am very sad about leaving it behind and venturing into year 3. I am trusting it will be as charming as you always are but I cannot bring myself to no longer view you as the "baby." I hope you are okay with being "sweet baby A" for eternity! I love you, darling, more than life! The energy you put off keeps me going!
I am working on the pictures from your very special Vintage Butterfly Garden Party! I cannot wait to share the precious moments between you and your very sweet little friends. Stay tuned...
