Between the Hedges 2012...

Even though one of you sweet princesses were having a birthday, we still managed to make it to the annual Letterman's Lunch and Day Between the Hedges.  It was a fun day, as usual, and the Dawgs made us proud.  I spent a lot of that day thinking back over the past few years at our visits to Athens on this special day each year.  I remember when no kiddos were along for the big day.  It was just all the guys and their brides enjoying and reminiscing together.  Then, slowly we added some rather large bellies and quite precious babies between us all (for some reason, a LOT of them were sweet little princesses).  Then, quickly those little ones multiplied quickly!  So, in turn, these past few years, the reunions have been rather slim.  Lots of activities between all the little ball players and cheerleaders and it makes it more difficult to get to the games. We also greatly miss Mimi and Granddaddy during the past few seasons.  Tailgating without Mimi's spread of delicious goodies is just not the same at all.  No fresh flowers, yummy football shaped snacks.  I am not sure what next season will bring but, at least this year, we made one more presence at the Letterman tailgate and you all had fun running along between the hedges together too.  Good Luck Bulldawgs!  You boys have really made this season exciting and we hope to cheer you on at the National Championship game really soon!

This birthday girl was super tired after a fun Mermaid party the evening before but got real happy when she saw that yummy cookie cake!  (love the sweet pose, adelynn!  You are such a precious little one!)

Team Sills and The A Girls...what a crew?

We love our BullDawgs!!
