Celebrating Freedom...

This summer's 4th of July celebrating was just as exciting as the ones of the past!

It has changed over the years in many ways but it seems to always be just as sweet.  We spent two straight days with our dear friends and neighbors celebrating with yummy food, fireworks, jump houses, ice creams, swimming pools, fundraiser 10K and more I am sure I am forgetting.

All ages of us truly enjoy the country club fireworks event.  It is like the whole town shows up and it is just plain fun~
Sweet friendship in the making...

(it seems unreal to me that 2 sisters could be so different looking!)

These are the youngest in the group of sibling friends at this point (besides Emma and baby Alex) and they have really had a blast together the past few weeks!

What an amazing group of young girls!  I am proud of the friends my sweet girls have made!!!

Daddy and his friends organized a 10K that started by our house.  It was really neat to get up with all our friends and run so early on the 4th.  We ran in support of a family at our church who is on there 4th child (3rd adoption) and there sweet little baby, Charlotte, that they will be getting from China in just a few short weeks.  My absolute favorite part was crossing the finish line with about 10 little ones jumping, screaming and waving flags to cheer on their parents. I had my fastest time ever of 8.54 per mile. Which, I know is not super fast, but for me I was hoping to finish below 9 min mile.  So, I was happy!!  Then, off to the parade downtown...

Just look at these two sharing secrets under the table at the pool as they munched on watermelon!  By the look on both their faces, it must have been good (the story and the watermelon!) So cute!

It is funny how the two older ones look so different. Then baby A is like the perfect combination of the 2 of them! All beautiful.
