Summertime Memories...

Summer Vacations have been and will always hold a very special place in my heart and the hearts of my girls,I am sure too!  It is a time when cousins get to play nonstop from sun up to sun down, when you are never to old to curl up on your momma's lap, where adults can act like kiddos in family competitions, where love abounds no matter what and where worry and schedules have no place!  So, family beach trips are like my heaven on Earth!  The warmth in the air penetrates to my soul due to the sweet people that surround me!  Thanks so much for my wonderful parents who always make our family vacations mandatory!  They are memories I know each of us will hold dear forever!

 Uncle Matt Matt has a very active group of girls in his family!! They love some competition and anything that requires energy and athletics.  He, on the other hand, tried to do too much following surgery and ended up like this on the front porch!!  Maybe you should try some exercising other than vacation? ya think?  We love you Matthew Todd!

 Daddy was totally into fishing this vacation and some of us girls enjoyed it too.  (or pretended to anyway:-)

 

 Having the lake and kayak this trip was super special I thought.  It gave us a little more entertainment and also made for some really pretty scenery too. 

 And...Look who caught the biggest fish of the trip?  Yes, two little girls helped Daddy catch this huge fish from the kayak.

 We also let lose and had a little too much fun one evening at the Pavillion in Seaside.  Who are these little mysterious men we picked up on our trip?  Looks like some pirates too up above.

 

Mimi and her Fabulous Five!  Someone sure does love her little monkeys!  The last day on the beach  was the absolute best!  The weather was gorgeous in a hazy sort of way and you five girls found a wonderful place to explore.  You spent a couple of hours creating imaginary play from a little stream on the beach.  It was so fun to just watch you all interact and create imaginary play together.  Man, how the time flies by!
