This Thanksgiving, I am reminded of all the gracious gifts God has given to me and my loved ones. I am amazed at His goodness and have tried to spend time reflecting over even the smallest ways the Lord has blessed me. I have realized that some of the biggest trials I have personally been through and we as a family have faced ultimately have turned into sweet blessings.
Of course, I am constantly thanking Jesus for my family but over the past year or so I feel our family has grown a little bigger (and not just by the birth of our newest precious angel.) God has crossed our paths with some of the most wonderful friends. They are more than we could have ever imagined on our own and we see them as part of our family. The feeling of peace that comes with having friends so dear to you is amazing.
Upon moving to Cartersville, we knew we loved it from the start...the small town feel, the awesome downtown, the smiling faces, etc. Especially with Jon's outgoing personality, we began to meet people right away. We were having lots of fun and loved raising Anna Grace in such a neat area. However, after we had Ailee we began visiting a new church. We both felt at home immediately and we could wait until the next Sunday or Wednesday to get back there. Jon and I both joined bible studies and began getting deeper in the lives of others within the church. God was opening up our hearts in a special way for our church family at Cartersville First Baptist. We are continually amazed by the way God is working in our lives and those around us. He reveals Himself more and more each day through the relationships we are developing within our church.
